For the 4 hour project...
I would like to research and hopefully attempt to do some work with foley sounds. I think it will be helpful in improving my 3-d skills as I can have sounds made by characters or objects to make the scene appear real. I know that animated movies use this frequently and creatively and watching that process in the past was awesome. I would like to recreate that myself in my own work as a good portfolio piece.

Audio questions minus the illustrations
1. What range of frequencies are detectable to the human ear? Approximately 20Hz to 20 kHz
2. Define audio. "Of sound" or "of the reproduction of sound".
3. Audio production involves what four elements of audio? Production, recording, manipulation and reproduction
4. List 10 careers in audio and list a local company for six of the career fields. Studio Sound Engineer, Wolfe Trax Recording, Live Sound Engineer, Musician, Field Sound Engineer, Audio Editor, Post-Production Audio Creator, Music Producer, DJ, Radio technician, Film/Television, Sound Recorder
5. List three careers that need to have an understanding of audio production concepts. Music Producer, Audio Editor, and Sound Engineer
7. What is a waveform? Resulting waves in a mathematical drawing of sound waves
8. Is sound two dimensional or three dimensional? 3D
9. How do variations in sound pressure correlate to a waveform diagram? In high pressure the molecules pack together and in low pressure they spread apart.
12. Define transducer. A device which coverts energy from one form into another.
13. Define amplifier. A device which increases the amplitude of an electrical signal.
14. Define signal processor. The analysis, interpretation, and manipulation of signals .

Here is where I am having some issues. It is only supposed to be selecting the area around where the sleeve is going to be formed. However as you can see, it is selecting all the way to the belt area. I have moved many things on my vertex level around and have gotten no results that are satisfying. So now I am moving onto my audio questions.

1. The following people might be good resources for me (Explain why they are good resources):
Honestly the only resources I have are Mr. Fitzer and Mr. Dimasso. I know of no one else in this field or with any knowledge in this field.
2. Some possible resources for research are:
Some possible resources are the internet and books I can check out at a local library.
3. How will family, community, or industry benefit from this project?
They will become more knowledgable in this field as they can learn from me.
4. What skills or understanding do you expect to develop and demonstrate in this project?
I hope to become proficient in the world of 3-d modeling and animation.
